The Art of Jaymee Laws: Opening Reception
Join us for an evening with Lewiston artist Jaymee Laws, whose work springs from a constant stream of imagination and emotion. Jaymee creates freely and prolifically, filling her studio with spontaneous sketches of dreamy, wandering women who appear in her mind and disappear just as quickly.
Her art isn’t about perfection, legacy, or formality. It’s about expression, therapy, and finding calm in a world that often feels overwhelming. Jaymee is happiest when her work is out in the world bringing joy to someone else, rather than stored away in her cozy Normal Hill studio.
Come meet Jaymee, explore her whimsical and heartfelt creations, and enjoy a reception that celebrates art made for the sake of feeling better, breathing easier, and embracing the beautifully imperfect.
